Top Secret American Air Base in Charleville during World War II. We can’t tell you about it because it’s a secret so you will have to come and do the tour. However it did win a National Tourism Award.

The Bilby Experience
Meeting this delightful marsupial is a highlight for many visitors who come to Charleville. Captive bred in Charleville to ensure the survival of the species, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the survival, habits and habitat of the endangered Bilby. Enjoy a visual presentation and discussion before viewing the Bilby in a natural setting.
Historic House
This Building, located at 87 Alfred Street and situated next to the Murweh Shire Council Office, is the former premises of the Queensland National Bank which established a branch in Charleville on the 30th day of July 1881. It was purchased by the Charleville and District Historical Society Inc. in 1973. It is the oldest building still on its original site in Alfred Street.
